Poultry Catchers

 As a Poultry Catcher, you’ll be a member of a team traveling to a number of poultry farms daily, catching live birds and loading them safely into module drawers for shipment.
There are a variety of tasks associated with the role of Catcher:
• Assisting with the selection and catching of birds
• Catching and restraining birds in compliance with welfare rules
• Ensuring that birds are loaded properly into module drawers
• Always complying with high standard of animal welfare regulation
• Accurate record keeping
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene at all times

Poultry Operatives

As a Poultry Operative, you’ll help assist the hatchery and play a key role in the daily duties which are fundamental to our entire business.
• Ensuring chick welfare protocols are adhered to, e.g. vaccinations, and health checks.
• Ensuring chicks are sorted into the required grades and quantities, and ready for farm delivery
• Cleaning all equipment after use to the required high standards
• Safeguarding biosecurity and following these strict procedures
• Observing bird welfare and health and safety on-site at all times

 

Pipe Fitters/Welders

• Welding of Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel Pipework, both small and large bore.
• Working both in the fabrication workshop, and on-site as and when required.
• Commercial and process pipework fabrication, welding, fitting, and modification.
• Fabricating pipework in accordance with Isometric drawings, P&D, and job specifications.
• Installation and or modification of commercial & industrial pipeline systems.
• Working to tight tolerances.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Confident and with an ability to work unsupervised and work on own initiative.
• Promote good housekeeping for an efficient working environment.
• Setting standards and mentoring junior members of the team.

 

South Indian Head Chef

The candidate will be responsible for the control and efficient running of the kitchen, according to specified standards of the restaurant while adhering to company and statutory regulations for health and safety, and hygiene.

• Manage kitchen assuming responsibility for a smooth running of the operation.
• Mastering and Teaching Cooking Techniques for south Indian food.
• Recipe Development: Drive innovation in existing food offerings.
• Responsible for planning and implementing Menus.
• Plan & Implement food concepts/festivals as per events.
• Ensure Menus of Change guidelines are implemented and followed.
• Understand and adhere SOPs for hygiene, portion control, preparation and storage methods.
• Coordination of the dynamics of the day. Be physically present in the operation to direct and guide.
• Manages food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimizes waste.
• Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members.
• Coordinate with procurement team on supply ordering, kitchen efficiency.
• Ensure the food service operations confirm to highest quality & safety standards.
• Ensure consistency in quality and safety of daily deliverables.
• Understand and follows Integrated Food & Beverage Guidelines.
• Knowledge of all audits, Understanding and readiness for audits.
• Responsible for First day of Work of new employees and monitoring of onboarding.

South Indian Sou Chef

• With experience in south Asian Food
• Good living and working knowledge of food and grocery in the UK
• Ability to make south Indian / Asian food with western concepts
• Good knowledge of South Indian dishes
• Ability to make trial food products
• Ability to run tasting session
• Knowledge of breakfast, lunch, and dinner food recipes of south Indian food

 

Engineers (Various Roles)

• Dealing with customer enquires with a focus on enquires require a level of technical discussion. This includes off-site customer visits and occasional overseas travel.
• Accurately entering customer information, product information, and pricing into the database.
• Producing invoices, entering orders, and making product purchases.
• To review and report on bearing quality issues and failures. Reporting internally to the Operations Manager and Quality Engineer, but also to suppliers and customers.
• To inspect and measure products.
• To produce inspection criteria for products when required.
• To understand customer requirements and produce a well-defined specification for a product to suite.
• Advising on sales prices and mark-ups under special cases such as higher volume or prototyping.
• Offering guidance and structure to engineering projects and product development to the engineering and sales team.
• Producing drawings Datasheets and CAD renders for a range of uses including Manufacture drawings, customer's technical documentation, and instruction manuals.
• Producing reports and calculations including Bearing Life, Bearing Stiffness and torque, Bearing fits, and Finite Element Analysis. Discussing these results with customers and understanding the limitations of these calculation methods.
• Participating in meetings including Internal Sales meetings, Customer meetings, Technical meetings, and supplier meetings as required.
